- 🥑 2 ripe avocados pitted and scooped
- 🍫 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 🍯 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
- 🥥 1/4 cup coconut milk or almond milk for a lighter texture
- 🥄 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 🧂 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- ☕ 1/2 teaspoon instant espresso powder optional, enhances chocolate flavor
- 🍫 Dark chocolate shavings or cacao nibs for garnish
Blend Until Smooth:
In a food processor or blender, add avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, vanilla extract, sea salt, and espresso powder (if using).
Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
Taste and Adjust:
Adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if needed.
For a thinner consistency, add a splash of extra coconut milk.
Serve and Garnish:
Divide into small bowls or ramekins.
Garnish with dark chocolate shavings, cacao nibs, or fresh berries.
