Ingredients
  

For the Apple Filling:
  • 🍏 4 large apples sliced, any variety
  • 🍯 3 tablespoons maple syrup or coconut sugar
  • 🥄 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 🥄 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 🧂 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 🥄 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 🌽 1 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot powder
For the Oat Crumble Topping:
  • 🌾 1 cup rolled oats gluten-free if needed
  • 🌰 1/2 cup almond flour or crushed nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 🍯 3 tablespoons maple syrup or coconut sugar
  • 🥥 3 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 🥄 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

Preheat the Oven:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Prepare the Apple Filling:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, toss sliced apples with maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and cornstarch.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish.
Make the Oat Crumble:
  1. In a separate bowl, combine oats, almond flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, cinnamon, and sea salt.
  2. Mix until the topping is crumbly and evenly coated.
Assemble & Bake:
  1. Sprinkle the oat crumble topping over the apples.
  2. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the crumble is golden and crispy.
Serve & Enjoy:
  1. Let cool slightly before serving.
  2. Enjoy warm on its own or with dairy-free ice cream or coconut whipped cream!
