Ingredients
  

For the Salmon:
  • 🐟 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each, skinless or skin-on
  • 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
  • 🍋 Juice of 1/2 lemon for serving
  • 🌿 Chopped parsley for garnish optional
For the Garlic-Dijon Glaze:
  • 🧄 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 🥄 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 🍯 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 🍋 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 🫒 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 🧂 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 🌶️ 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Equipment

  • Baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Brush for glazing

Method
 

Preheat the Oven:
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Garlic-Dijon Glaze:
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir until well combined.
Season and Glaze the Salmon:
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  2. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Brush each fillet generously with the garlic-Dijon glaze.
Bake the Salmon:
  1. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized.
Serve and Garnish:
  1. Transfer the salmon to plates.
  2. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
